There is no set time frame for when you have to change your breast implants. They are designed to last for many years, but will not likely last a lifetime. Allergan and Mentor will provide a free implant if you ever have a rupture and will provide some financial assistance in case of a deflation in the first ten years after insertion. This is probably where the misconception started that you have to change them every ten years. If you do not have a problem, you do not need a solution.
